I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers met for the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
